Finland’s flag carrier airline, Finnair, has announced the cancellation of 143 flights scheduled for June 17, 2025, at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport due to a planned strike. Finnair officials stated that the four-hour strike organized by the Finnish Aviation Union (IAU) will disrupt many critical operations throughout the day, such as ground services and catering operations.
These cancellations are expected to affect approximately 6,500 passengers. Alternative travel options will be offered to passengers, and those who wish to cancel their reservations will be able to receive a full refund for their tickets.
